Panagiotis Mavridis is a Management Board Member and Chief Operating Officer of Eurobank Bulgaria (Postbank) and Chair of the Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria (HBCB). He has more than 25 years of banking experience in Greece and Bulgaria. He oversees the bank's central operations, cash management, and cyber and transactional security, which are the functions at the heart of the euro changeover. He began his career in Greece around the time of Greece's own euro adoption. That gives him a first-hand perspective on both transitions and on Greek–Bulgarian economic ties.
