Efi Chatziantoniou is Chief Operating Officer at Snappi, bringing over four decades of experience in European banking across both traditional and digital banking environments. Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership roles with responsibility for banking operations, payments and financial market infrastructures, liquidity and cash management, customer operations, operational risk and large-scale transformation. In her current role, she works closely with the CEO and Board to translate strategic priorities into resilient operating models, effective governance and controls, regulatory readiness and sustainable execution. Her focus includes scaling operations responsibly, leveraging technology and automation to improve efficiency and customer experience, and strengthening operational resilience in an increasingly digital banking environment. Her perspective is also informed by extensive exposure to industry-level governance and executive education through the Harvard Business School and IESE Business School programme “Value Creation Through Effective Boards.
