Thymios Papadopoulos is Director and Head of Strategy at Olympia Group, a private investment group based in Athens with c.€1.5 billion in assets, investing across technology, retail & distribution, and other sectors. Thymios oversees the group’s investment strategy and leads Strategic projects and transformation initiatives across Olympia’s portfolio companies, which include EntersoftOne, Sunlight, Public, Westnet, Sleed, Box NOW, and others. Prior to joining Olympia Group, Thymios held investment and strategy roles in the US, the UK, and Greece. Most recently, at Eurobank, he oversaw part of the bank’s Business and Technology Transformation program. Before that, he was an investment professional at Saranac Partners, a private asset management firm in London. Thymios began his career as a management consultant with Strategic Decisions Group (SDG) in Palo Alto, California. Thymios holds a diploma in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), and an MSc and a PhD from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
