Maciej Lis is an Economist at the OECD, where he has spent the past decade researching population ageing and pension policy. His work focuses on pension systems, pension adequacy and equity, and the implications of labour market developments and demographic change for retirement outcomes. He has led the preparation of analytical chapters for OECD pension reports addressing pension challenges for workers in non-standard employment, workers in hazardous or arduous jobs, and gender differences in pension outcomes. He has also authored academic papers and contributed chapters to books on pension policy published by the World Bank and Routledge. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Warsaw School of Economics.
