Amb. Poptodorova is a retired career diplomat who was the MFA spokesperson, Director of the Directorate of Human Rights and of the Nato and International Security Directorate, Ambassador-at-Large for the Black Sea Region, posted to Rome, Italy and then to Washington, the US, as Bulgaria's Ambassador for two terms. She also served as an MP in the Bulgarian National Assembly for 11 years being also a member of PACE. Amb. Poptodorova is a founder and Vice President of the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria. She is a member of the Board of ATA and sits on the corporate board of a major US company. She engages continuously in media interviews, conferences and speeches.
