Jesus Caballero is the CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of SOF Connect – the operator of Sofia Airport, and a Board member of Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan. With extensive experience across all areas of aviation, he has managed airports in Seville, Melilla, Madrid, Barcelona, and Malaga, becoming Spain’s youngest airport CEO. Under his leadership, Sofia Airport facilitated Bulgaria's Schengen accession by air in 2024 and initiated its transformation into a modern, five-star regional hub, balancing decarbonization with growth. He oversees €624 million in investment projects, including infrastructure upgrades, digitalization, development of Terminal 2 and building Terminal 3. An advocate for sustainable aviation, Mr. Caballero serves on the boards of ACI WORLD Fund and ACI EUROPE. He was selected as the Manager of the Year 2024 in Bulgaria by Manager Magazine and Deloitte.
