Ivan Mihaylov is seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience in IT, telecommunications, and automotive businesses. As of October 2022, Ivan was appointed as AmCham CEO and prior to that he is AmCham Board Member (2020-2022). He held a position of Country lead of Intellias Bulgaria – Ukrainian based software company. Before that he held a position of Country Manager – Bulgaria and Romania of Visteon Electronics (2014 – 2022) and Operations Manager of Johnson Controls Electronics Bulgaria (2012 – 2014) – both leading automotive US based companies in Detroit Michigan. His early career also includes IT management roles in telecommunication company GLOBUL (today known as Yettel) and before that Sofiyska voda (part of United Utilities, UK). Ivan was Chairman of the Board of Automotive Cluster Bulgaria (2015 to 2023), also Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Employers Organization Innovative Technologies (BRAIT) - 2020 – 2023. Ivan has triple MSc – one from the Technical University of Sofia in Computer Science, and one from the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Economy, and one from The Red McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin, USA.
